COVID-19: The new variant detected in South Korea

South Korea: South Korea has affirmed the first three cases of the new variant coronavirus in the country. This confirmation was given by Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA).
South Korea is stimulating endeavours to launch covid-19 vaccination programme to eradicate the deadly coronavirus. The KDCA confirmed that the trio reached the country on 22 December from the UK. Whereas, DGC said, “They arrived in the nation as a family living in London and the tests revealed the presence of the virus, they are now in quarantine.”

South Korean’s health experts are now investigating biological material from another family of four, who come from the UK and have tested positive for COVID-19.The new variant of coronavirus reached in several countries. This spread more misinformation than ever. Besides, there is no threat seen in people. People are more fearless and careless when it comes to coronavirus.

Trusted Health organisations like the World Health Organisation (WHO) gave guidelines that must be followed as the new variant of covid-19 is more dangerous than previous. It is more transmissible and contagious. Children are more susceptible to this new mutant. They tend to have receptors that are effortlessly hospitable to the covid-19 mutant.

Many flights have been banned from restricting the spread of the new variant of deadly coronavirus. According to reports, more than 14 million people have been tested positive for dangerous coronavirus. Half of them are suffering from several more diseases. Hence, strict lockdown regulations have been applied in the respective member states.

This new variant is asymptomatic to fatal. Reports say that it has a higher transformation rate. It has been detected in several countries like the Caribbean, Denmark, Canada, Belgium, Latin America, Netherlands, South Africa and Australia.

To restrict the expansion of the new variant of coronavirus, we must be cautious as precautions are always better than cure.
