It is estimated at BZ$94,602 and includes polyester, rayon, and spandex, which will be assigned to women’s groups and entrepreneurs across the nation by the Women & Family Support Department.

The Department will maintain the recipients’ income-generating activities by providing a chance for the creation, marketing, and dissemination of a variety of quality, authentic Belizean products made from the fabric.

The empowerment of women is essential to families, communities, and countrie’s social development.

Therefore, the Ministry is very appreciative to the people and Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan) for the munificent donation, which will empower women and families across the nation, and thus, provide to Belize’s economic advancement.

Taiwan is continuously helping Belize in different ways; earlier, it assisted small nations with health equipment.

This seems to be the result of good diplomacy between these two nations.

During his tour, Minister Ferguson visited Belize Electricity Limited, Belize Water Services Limited, Belize Telemedia Limited, Belize Port Authority, post offices, transport departments, and terminals in the municipalities, including Independence Village.

Fruitful negotiations were held with the officers-in-charge on their operations, including plans for their development to provide more efficient assistance to Belizeans.

The Minister acknowledged the management of the offices visited for their ongoing works, safety precautions and confined to working in collaboration for continued improvements and growth in the future.
