Barbados Weather: The people of Barbados may experience a mix of sunshine and clouds across the central and western districts along with a few brief scattered lights to moderate showers, mainly during the afternoon. Winds Forecast: Winds are forecasted to be light in easterly to east-southeasterly breeze from 10 to 20 km/h (6 to 12 mph) and steady.

Overall Caribbean weather:

Eastern Caribbean – During the night, Barbados laid on the southern fringe of a low-level trough. A favourable upper-level Jet stream remained over the area. As a result, scattered moderate to heavy showers and a few isolated thunderstorms were depicted. Mostly fair-weather conditions were experienced.

Winds across the region remained generally light, peaking at 10 knots in Grenada and 6 knots in Barbados. Seas conditions were slight to moderate in open water with swells peaking near 1.5 m.

Western Caribbean – A surface to mid-level ridge pattern was the dominant feature across the central Caribbean during the night.
