Barbados announces new-vaccination sites from August 17 to August 21
All of the sites will run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day

The government of Barbados has announced a new schedule. The vaccination schedule is from Tuesday, August 17 to Saturday, August 21.
The immunisation’s venues which will be open on Tuesday (August 17):-
- The Sea Rocks Dome, Maxwell Coast Road, Christ Church.
- Building No.2, Harbour Industrial Park, St. Michael.
- The Art Gallery, Constitution Road, St. Michael.
- David Thompson Health and Social Services Complex, Glebe Land, St. John.
- The Sharon Moravian Church Hall, Sharon, St. Thomas.
The immunisation’s venues which will be open on Wednesday (August 18):-
- The Masonic Centre, Salters, St. George.
- St. Philip Polyclinic, Six Cross Roads, St. Philip.
- David Thompson Health and Social Services Complex.
- The Sharon Moravian Church Hall.
The immunisation’s venues which will be open on Thursday (August 19):-
- The Sea Rocks Dome; Building No.2, Harbour Industrial Park.
- The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Mile-and-a-Quarter, St. Peter; St. Philip Polyclinic.
- The Art Gallery.
- David Thompson Health and Social Services Complex.
- The Sharon Moravian Church Hall.
The immunisation’s venues which will be open on Friday (August 20):-
- The Masonic Centre.
- The Sea Rocks Dome.
- Building No.2, Harbour Industrial Park.
- David Thompson Health and Social Services Complex.
- Sharon Moravian Church Hall.
Only one vaccination site, the Masonic Centre, will operate on Saturday, August 21.
All of the sites will run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day.
The total active cases of COVID-19 are 4,525 in number out of which 10 have been recently reported, with 48 deaths recorded till present in Barbados due to the COVID-19 virus. No new death case of COVID-19 has been reported.
From the day pandemic hit Barbados, the health department have tested 2,37,445 people, out of which 4,525 were reported positive, out of which 2,200 were female, and 2,325 were male. Now 107 persons are under isolation.
In Barbados, 1,01,001 people received their first shot of vaccine and 85,076 have been fully vaccinated with getting 2 shots according to the present time. 31.4%population have been fully vaccinated
A total of 1,355 tests have been conducted in a single day.
