Antigua and Barbuda showcases green businesses at CBF Knowledge Fair in Barbados
Antigua and Barbuda showcased the green businesses beneficiaries of the IICA-CBF-EbA Project.

St John’s, Antigua and Barbuda: Antigua Ministry of Agriculture Fisheries and Barbuda Affairs has recently informed the general public about the participation of the twin-island nation in the CBF Knowledge Fair in neighbouring country – Barbados.
According to the update shared by the ministry, the delegation of Antigua and Barbuda showcased the green businesses beneficiaries of the IICA-CBF-EbA Project.
“Products from the IICA-CBF EbA Project’s green businesses beneficiaries were showcased earlier this week at the CBF Knowledge Fair that was held in Barbados,” the update read.
The Agriculture Fisheries Ministry of Antigua and Barbuda further elaborated the Knowledge Fair. While stating about the Knowledge Fair.
As per the update by the Antigua Ministry of Agriculture Fisheries and Barbuda Affairs CBF explains this Knowledge Fair as a project working for raising awareness about the marine and terrestrial lives.
“The Knowledge Fair Showcases project and other initiatives by Caribbean partners and organizations working in marine and terrestrial conservation in the region. The event hosts are the Caribbean Biodiversity Fund, Global Environmental Facility’s Small Grants Programme (GEF SGP) in the Caribbean, and the UN Barbados & the Eastern Caribbean” – CBF, as per the sources.
Furthermore, it informed that products from Antigua’s green businesses were showcased by Gilbert’s Agricultural Research and Development Center (GARDC) and Nee Shontey Beauty who were beneficiaries of the project.
