3 dies, 147 tested positive for Coronavirus in Trinidad and Tobago
147 new positive cases of the COVID-19 mutant on 27 October 2021, recorded in Trinidad and Tobago, according to the report of the Health Ministry. With the arrival of these cases, the active number of coronavirus infections has increased to 4,630.

Trinidad and Tobago: 147 new positive cases of the COVID-19 mutant on 27 October 2021, recorded in Trinidad and Tobago, according to the report of the Health Ministry. With the arrival of these cases, the active number of coronavirus infections has increased to 4,630.
In contrast, a total of 49,872 individuals have been recovered from the deadly COVID-19 mutant.
In total, around 332 people are in the hospital. The Health Ministry of Trinidad and Tobago further informed in the report that a total of 3 new deaths have been recorded, taking the total death toll to 1,658 on the Caribbean island as of 27 October 2021.
As per the Health Ministry’s report, there are a total of 35 patients in the step-down facilities, about 87 individuals are in the state-quarantine facilities.
A total of 4116 individuals have isolated themselves at their homes following the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the data shared in the health ministry’s report of T&T.
According to the COVID-19 update report, since the deadliest pandemic started, the Caribbean island has reported a total of 56,160 confirmed cases of the virus.
If we look at the statistics of COVID-19 testing, a total of 391,043 individuals have been tested for the novel coronavirus, out of which a total of 169,467 individuals have been tested at private facilities, whereas the remaining tests were conducted at public healthcare facilities.
As of 27 October 2021, in Trinidad and Tobago, a total of 620,231 individuals have received their first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine, whereas, in total, 592,384 individuals have welcomed their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and now are fully vaccinated against the deadly COVID-19.
