208 new positive cases of the COVID-19 mutant on 31 October 2021, recorded in Trinidad and Tobago, according to the report of the Health Ministry. In contrast, a total of 50,732 individuals have been recovered from the deadly COVID-19 mutant.

With the arrival of these cases, the active number of coronavirus infections has increased to 4,901.
In total, around 336 people are in the hospital. The Health Ministry of Trinidad and Tobago further informed in the report that a total of 14 new deaths have been recorded, taking the total death toll to 1,696 on the Caribbean island as of 31 October 2021.
As per the Health Ministry’s report, there are a total of 30 patients in the step-down facilities, about 68 individuals are in the state-quarantine facilities.
A total of 4,327 individuals have isolated themselves at their homes following the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the data shared in the health ministry’s report of T&T.
According to the COVID-19 update report, since the deadliest pandemic started, the Caribbean island has reported a total of 57,329 confirmed cases of the virus.
If we look at the statistics of COVID-19 testing, a total of 395,133 individuals have been tested for the novel coronavirus, out of which a total of 169,467 individuals have been tested at private facilities, whereas the remaining tests were conducted at public healthcare facilities.
As of 31 October 2021, in Trinidad and Tobago, a total of 623,164 individuals have received their first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine, whereas, in total, 601,791 individuals have welcomed their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and now are fully vaccinated against the deadly COVID-19.
