Weather Update: Saint Lucia to witness partly cloudy and hazy weather condition

Saint Lucia: The Meteorological Department of Saint Lucia has shared the weather forecast for the early morning of January 9, 2023 (Monday). As per the weather forecaster Webster Gajadhar, the nation will witness some scattered showers following party cloudy and hazy weather conditions. The clouds will become dense, causing a little rainfall. During this time period, the wind will blow from the east-northeast and east direction with a speed of 17 mph or 28 km/h.
The region of the Lesser Antilles will be seeing similar weather conditions as the island country of Saint Lucia. The forecasted weather for the region is partly cloudy and hazy, becoming cloudy at times, causing some scattered light to moderate showers.
According to the 6 pm weather update, the conditions at the Hewanorra Airport were partly cloudy and hazed, whereas at GFL Charles Airport were cloudy and hazy. Reportedly, the maximum temperature of the day was 30°C or 86°F and the wind was blowing at the speed of 14 mph or 22 km/h.
As per the weather forecast, the total rainfall for the month of January at Hewanorra Airport and GFL Charles Airport was 40.1 mm and 81.6 mm, respectively. According to the marine forecast by the meteorological department, the seas will see moderate to locally rough waves; the sea crafters and bathers are warned to exercise caution as the condition is above normal seas.
The weather summary stated by the department will the Atlantic High-Pressure System will remain to generate moderate winds, and the sea condition will be above normal. The conditions will persist for a few days of the week. Over the Lesser Antilles, during the next 24 hours, the conditions will be moisture and unstable and will be associated with an upper-level jet stream. A few drops of rain may fall in the region and will continue to cause occasional cloudy periods with some scattered showers.
