UK: Labour Party MP Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi meets Anguillan community in Slough
Labour Party MP for Slough Shadow Rail Minister Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi recently met with the residents and citizens of the Slough.

England, the United Kingdom: Labour Party MP for Slough Shadow Rail Minister Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi recently met with the residents and citizens of the Slough. The meeting majorly focused on the Anguillan community residing in the town.
Through the social media post, Labour Party MP praised the community, living outside the Caribbean region, for their large contribution towards the prosperity and vibrancy.
While sharing the update on social media, Dhesi noted, “Slough is home to the largest number of Anguillans outside of the Caribbean, and they make a huge contribution to the vibrancy and prosperity of our town.”
Tan Dhesi said all the statements during a Fun Day organised by the Anguilla Community Group. He noted that during this meeting, all the attendees had a lot of fun, food and music.
He furthermore added, “Anguilla Community Group again organised a Fun Day with lots of fun, food, music … and speeches by the likes of me.”
The community is known to organise fun activities to entertain the people. Recently, the community celebrated its Bank Holiday on Sunday, May 28, 2023. It invited the public to come and entertain to make it more successful.
“Anguilla Community Group presents a Fun Day at the Slough Cricket Club on Bank Holiday Sunday, May 28 2023. It is going to be large. Come and celebrate with u,” it noted.
On Sunday, the event was celebrated from 2 to 10 pm. It invited, “To come and join for a day full of activities like DJs, live music, dancing, food, games, raffles, stalls, and so much more.”
The match was organised at the Slough Cricket Club, Upton Court Road, Slough SL3 7LT.
