Trinidad and Tobago: A man from St Joseph, aged 47, Jason Seales was found dead at Caura River. Initial investigation has showed that the man died due to drowning in the river swimming. He took his last breath on Saturday afternoon.

However, the police have informed that the dead body of 47-year-old will undergo post-mortem examination at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex on October 10, 2022 (Monday).

The police have suspected that Seales was under the influence of alcohol due to which he was unable to swim. He was accompanied with one of his friend, who informed that both went for a swim at around 6:30 pm at Pool 1, Caura Road, El Dorado.

Furthermore, he informed the police that Jason Seales has trouble while resurfacing, following with his friend raised and alarm and called the police for help.

After reaching the spot of accident, Tunapuna police searched the dead body of Seales. The police were unable to spot the body because of which the cops called officers from the fire service and paramedics, eventually who found the body.

A district medical officer visited the scene and declared Seales dead.
