Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis: Anne Kelly Fontenelle-Clarke has been newly appointed as the CEO of St Kitts Tourism Authority, effective from 1st July 2024. With her new role as Chief Executive Officer, Clarke aims to bring economic benefits to the tourism sector of the island nation by focusing on travel trade and airline relationships.

Notably, Fontenelle-Clarke will lead international marketing efforts for the destination, make strategic plans, foster lucrative partnerships and facilitate effective stakeholder communication. She will also focus on leisure and cruise sector in order to promote and elevate the tourism department of island nation to greater heights.

While noting the capabilities of Clarke, Tourism Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Marsha Henderson stated that she has a proven track record of transforming tourism authorities and organizations into industry leaders through innovative strategies and collaborative partnerships. She further asserted that Clarke will continue to drive high demand for the island nation among air and cruise passengers, contributing to the overall growth of the tourism sector.

Moreover, Anne Kelly Fontenelle-Clarke also expressed her excitement on implementing innovative plans and strategies in order to increase St Kitts and Nevis visibility, expanding new markets and ensure it a premier destination for all the travellers. For the same, she plans to collaborate with tour operators, travel agents and airlines to attract large number of passengers to the island nation.

Fontenelle-Clarke is also the founder of foremost Caribbean travel advisory company, Travel Advisors Selling the Caribbean and has pioneered online support tools for travel advisors. She is also served as Director of Marketing for the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority and in that role she has developed several initiatives that has contributed to the positive growth of Saint Lucia Tourism industry.

She has also played a crucial role in developing Saint Lucia Expert loyalty program, resulting in growth for brand agents. Through SLEx, Clarke has promoted the island destination for romantic gateways, honeymoons, weddings and many more.

With her abundant experience, Clarke aims to bring glory to the tourism sector of St Kitts and Nevis.
