St Kitts and Nevis: The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Aviation St. Kitts and Nevis and Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley, has recently shared the updates about the investment made in the physical infrastructure under the Concerned Citizen’s Movement (CCM) in the health sector in Nevis.
He took the social media to announce the expenditure done by the government. He stated, “Investments in physical infrastructure under your CCM led NIA in the health sector in Nevis.”
The Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley, announced that the total investment made by the government to date would be approximately over USD16 Million.
Mark Brantley mentioned that the government has invested in the ‘renovation and upgrade of all health centres across Nevis.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Aviation has added the investment made to upgrade the Flamboyant Home for the elderly; the authorities have also renovated the kitchen for the Flamboyant Home.
St Kitts and Nevis have been working on the project to provide new kitchens at hospitals across the nation. The minister stated that the government has invested in the ongoing ‘New Hospital Main Kitchen Project’.
The Morgue would be upgraded to allow autopsies across the country. Investments have been made to establish the Morgue. He further notified about the financial assistance to upgrade the Gate House at the hospital now respiratory clinic.
The CCM-led NIV has invested in installing a double port garage for the ambulances. “Our government has majorly invested in the double port garage for new ambulances,” mentioned the minister.
The isolation unit of the private wards has been upgraded to provide more comfortable and efficient health services.
Ongoing construction of the new hospital wing has been undergoing. These hospital wings would be beneficial for the medical staff of the hospital as they would increase the space of treatment in the hospital.
