St Kitts and Nevis: Dr Norgen Wilson appoints as non-resident ambassador of Venezuela

The government of the twin-island Federation has announced that Dr Norgen Wilson has been appointed as the non-resident Ambassador-Designate to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: The government of the twin-island Federation has announced that Dr Norgen Wilson has been appointed as the non-resident Ambassador-Designate to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Accordingly, Wilson will present the Letter of Credentials to the President of Venezuela – Nicolás Maduro Moros, on March 13, 2023.

While elaborating on the work duties of the newly appointed non-resident Ambassador to Venezuela – Dr Wilson, the government informed that he would be representing and protecting the interests of the Government of St Kitts and Nevis, promoting and maintaining diplomatic and friendly relations, coordinating the implementation of the foreign policy priorities of the Federation.

Along with this, other duties will be to explore avenues for trade promotion, undertake the coordination of consular matters and services, and educational opportunities for the people of St Kitts and Nevis with the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, as well as others.

As per the update, the government praised Dr Norgen Wilson for his contribution towards the upliftment and advancement in the various sectors of St Kitts and Nevis. It also informed that he is a medical doctor by profession and has been practising in St Kitts and Nevis from the past 15 days. He possesses professional experience as well as relationship skills on a regional and international level, given his senior level of employment and service.

Besides this, Wilson has also worked as an International Representative for the National Security Ministry.
