St Kitts and Nevis announces 25 swimmers for 32nd OECS Swimming Championship in St Vincent
The St Kitts and Nevis Aquatics Federation has announced 25 swimmers who are all set to compete at the 32nd OECS Swimming Championship in November 2024 in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

The St Kitts and Nevis Aquatics Federation has announced 25 swimmers who are all set to compete at the 32nd OECS Swimming Championship in November 2024 in St Vincent and the Grenadines.
This year OECS Championship will be hosted by the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Swimming Federation (SVGSF) from November 8th to 10th. The venue selected for hosting the Championship is Shrewsbury Aquatic Center in Ratho Mill, St. Vincent. This much-awaited competition will be conducted under the sanction of the SVGSF.
The OECS is an International Inter-governmental Organisation which is dedicated to regional integration in the Eastern Caribbean. And, this OECS Swimming Championship is a great platform for the swimmers of the Eastern Caribbean to participate in this competition and showcase their skills, abilities and techniques.
The swimmers that will represent the nation in 8 and under category includes, Gal Leonce and Clijae Christmas. Five people will compete in the category of age 9-10 namely, Donissa Wilkinson, Greyson Burrel, Teadrian Tross, Valentino Esposito and Saulo Sahely.
Meanwhile, Skyla Connor, Marlie Mac Daniel, Skai Mills, Austin Williams and Nazanu Chiverton are the swimmers to represent nation at the 32nd OECS Swimming Championship. Three individuals will participate in the age 13-14 category which includes, Jazelle Connor, Troy Nisbett and Aunri Pemberton.
The St Kitts and Nevis Aquatic Federation has expressed optimism and has stated that these swimmers have worked really hard and hold the potential to cop up with all the challenges that come across their way to winning the medal. The Federation asserted that these individuals will give in all their sweat and blood in order to prove their worth, being the ones to represent their nation in the 32nd OECS Swimming Championship.
Moreover, last year, the event was held in Saint Lucia where six nations competed against each other including, Antigua, Grenada, Martinique, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and Sint Maarten.
And, this year, the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Swimming Federation will host the event and has extended invitations to several Federations which include, Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, British Virgin Islands, Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, St. Lucia, Sint Maarten, Martinique, St. Kitts and Nevis and the host St. Vincent and the Grenadines
