Sint Maarten to welcome three weekly Copa Airlines flights from July 2

Philipsburg, Sint Maarten: Air service to the small island nation of Sint Marteen has been increased by Copa Airlines. As per the tourism authorities of the country, this step shows that airlines have shown a strong vote of confidence.
“This increase in the number of flights indicates that Sint Marteen is an island of paradise and still a place to visit for the people who are fun seekers,” stated Minister of Tourism Arthur Lambriex.
As per the schedule shared by Copa Airlines, the weekly flights to Sint Maarten will be increased to three from two in July. For now, the flights connect the nation to 77 locations with 31 countries on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Reportedly, from July 2, Copa Airlines will start its Sunday flights.
Tourism Minister Lambreix was quoted saying, “These flights on Sundays showcase the strong confident of Copa Airlines in Sint Maarten as a tourist destination for the travel enthusiasts.”
He added that these flights will not only increase the tourist footfall in Sint Maarten but will also provide the residents and citizens of the nation an additional alternative to connect with the rest of the world. It will also increase the globe connection via of the main hubs of the Americas – Panama City.
It has been outlined that this additional route, which will start in July, is a marketing initiative by Copa Airlines. As per the guidance on the Airlines website, the initiative will include offline as well as online marketing activities such as special promotions with tour operators, social media campaigns and destination promotion.
It is anticipated that the email marketing automation system of Copa Airlines will be boosted with this third flight, which displays fare details and destination information dynamically for promotional purposes.
Copa Airlines will be providing marketing assistance to increase the arrivals of visitors to Sint Maarten from Latin America. The data and statics by the Ministry of TEATT, the South American market will have the highest average daily expenditure as compared to the other regions.
