Saint Lucia: The Seven Seas Grandeur made its inaugural call to Saint Lucia and filled the country with immense joy.
As the Cruise ship docked at the Port Castries, Saint Lucia sprung to life with the hustle and bustle all around. With this, the country lustered with the arrival of a significant number of passengers.
The Seven Seas Grandeur is operated by Regent Seven Seas Cruises. The vessel graced the island with its presence, showcasing the epitome of natural richness in the means of beauty and world-class hospitality.
Saint Lucia welcomed Seven Seas Grandeur with a plaque exchange ceremony, in which the Tourism Ministry, the Sea Ports Authority and the Government information service participated. Such a ceremony held in honor of the cruise’s arrival reflects the joy among both the public and authorities on its arrival.
The graced shores and the brightened up island all reveals and symbolizes the reputation of Saint Lucia as a premium cruise destination. The world class hospitality of the ship and the natural beauty of an Island offered the blend of the fusion of luxurious and tropical allure to the cruise passengers.
The strong impression left behind on the travelers and locals which signifies the true beauty of an Island. And, this laid a stronger impact on the locals as well. The Ministry of Tourism shared glimpses of the same as well. To this, even a person named Diana Gregg Whittle mentioned, “ Wow, my day of tour guiding was great.”
Not only this, people even bid adieu to the Cruise Ship and quoted, “ Nice, see you soon cruise ship Saint Lucia.”
Last month, on January 17, Virgin Voyages’ Valiant Lady docked at the ports and graced the shorelines of Saint Lucia. The cruise ship, which has a capacity of 2770, clearly directs towards increased tourism.
Cruise ships not only contribute to the expansion of the tourism sector but also provide an economic boost as a whole.
