The National Providence Stadium of Guyana is all set to witness a game of revenge as India will take on England in the second semi-final of the tournament, today. This rivalry goes back to the time when these two nations faced off in ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 where the opening partners Jos Butler and Alex Hales thrashed India by 10 wickets in Adelaide.

All the cricket lovers are speculating whether India would be able to take revenge on England or not. Several questions have been raised among the cricket enthusiasts that whether India would be able to kick out defending champions from the race of the finals or England will again be successful in shattering the dreams of those Indian fans.

Notably, India has been unbeaten in this tournament, they haven’t lost a single match yet. They have won all the games which they were able to compete in, with the only dropped points came from the match that was abandoned against Canada due to rain.

India is hoping to defeat England in the semi-finals, settle their score, and take their revenge for the last loss they faced in 2022 World Cup. On the other hand, England will be eying to defend their title and for that they are just two games away from becoming the first team to retain a T20 World Cup.

India has not won any World Cup since 2011 and the game against England is very crucial for them to get a little step closer towards fulfilling the dreams of millions of Indian fans who are craving for the World Cup trophy.

This is going to be the sixth and final game to be played at the Guyana National Stadium. The stadium is a 20,000-seater venue on the outskirts of Georgetown. It is also all set to offer an enthralling and exciting experience to all the spectators.

The match might also expect to witness interruption by rain and if both the teams fail to bat for 10 overs, then the match will be considered abandoned. It would result in Team India’s progression into the Finals and England will be knocked out.
