Saint Lucia: The Easter Kite Flying Festival is all to spread the fun in St Kitts and Nevis on April 1, 2024. This will be held at Pigeon Point from 10 am to 5 pm.
The event will offer joyful times to the participants. During the event, the participants have to design their own kites and showcase the creativity by their unique designs which would unleash the spark of happiness in the country, Saint Lucia.
“Let your creativity take flight as you design, decorate, and launch your own kites against the breathtaking backdrop of the Pigeon Island National Landmark,” mentioned the Cultural Development Foundation.
Cultural Development Foundation is a Government organization which is a champion for both cultural preservation and development change agents.
“Join us for a day filled with colorful skies, laughter, and unforgettable memories! Don’t miss out on this uplifting experience,” mentioned the foundation.
Such a statement by the Cultural Development Foundation so evidently states that the event would foster the happy times in the country through the colorful skies and laughter. The wings spread through the kites would even signify the country’s national heritage.
Considerably, the registration will be done at the venue, starting from morning 9:30 am. The event also holds the registration cost, which is different for specific age groups. The cost follows an ascending order from children to the group of people, which is as follows:
- For children, it includes $10
- For adults, the cost is $15
- For the group, the cost for registration is $35
There are several categories included for which the participants will be honoured. These are different for the children, group and adult categories. These categories involve Best Overall, Most Creative or Innovative Adults, Most Patriotic, Scariest, and Highest Flying.
Not only this, but the largest flying, most colorful adults, Best Group Corporation, Most colorful kids, and most creative or innovative kids.
