Saint Lucia to experience 113,000 airline seats, surge in airlift sector
Saint Lucia is set to experience an additional 113,000 airline seats compared to 2023 which also includes 40,000 more seats available for the Summer of 2024 and an additional 3000 seats from the Caribbean region compared to 2023.

Castries, Saint Lucia: Saint Lucia is all set to experience an additional 113,000 airline seats in comparison to the year 2023 which also includes the availability of 40,000 more seats for the Summer of 2024 as well as the addition of 3000 seats from the Caribbean region, in comparison to 2023.
All these data were unveiled at the Routes America Conference which was attended by Saint Lucia’s four-member delegation. It was led by Thaddeus M. Antoine, the Chairman of Saint Lucia Tourism Authority from 19th March to 21st March 2024 in Bogota Colombia.

During the conference, the delegations held meetings with executives of seven airlines which were interested in introducing inaugural routes to Saint Lucia. Along with that, they also conducted meetings with nine existing airlift providers with the vision to ensure the maintenance and sustainability of current capacities and schedules.
The airlines which will expand their services to Saint Lucia include, JetBlue, New York which will operate twice a day from 13th June 2024. American Airlines, Miami will operate its services twice in a day from 5th June 2024.
Meanwhile, Inter-Caribbean will offer its services to Barbados daily and thrice a week to Jamaica. Caribbean Airlines will fly weekly to Jamaica via Trinidad, ensuring the travel is comfortable and memorable for all the passengers.
Along with that, Air Adelphi will also begin its services thrice a week between Martinique, Saint Lucia and St Vincent and the Grenadines. The airline will start its operation on 15th April 2024 and will offer services on three days, i.e. Monday, Wednesday and Friday respectively.
The development in the airlift sector will open doors of several employment opportunities for the local citizens. With that, the nation will also likely to witness a surge in several sectors such as hospitality, accommodations and tourism.
The increase in services will not only boost the country’s tourism sector but also further enhance economic conditions and generate huge amounts of revenue for the nation.
The tourism authority of Saint Lucia is looking forward to witnessing future growth with the expansion of these services. He is also excited to showcase the vibrant culture and traditions of the island nation. The visitors will get a chance to explore the unparalleled beauty and magnificent destinations of Saint Lucia.
