Castries, Saint Lucia: The animal welfare organisation of Saint Lucia, Helpaws (Help Animal Welfare in St Lucia), has been addressing animal suffering in the island country for a long time now. The organisation works days and nights to provide a safe and secure shelter to the dogs and little puppies which are found in a bad condition, islandwide.
The organisation has been operating with the zeal and desire of the volunteers and the donations presented by the followers and animal (especially dog) lovers living around the globe. Now, to increase the donations the dog shelter has started a campaign, named ‘Valentine’s Day Fundraiser’.
While appealing the public, the organisation noted, “The heart wants what the heart wants, and what better way to make your heart feel good than to donate to and support our Valentine’s Day Fundraiser!”
It furthermore informed, “Your $35 donation will get you an entry into our raffle to win one of three amazing gift cards, you’ll be sent four adorable e-cards to distribute as you see fit to your friends and family, and we will add the name of a 2 or 4 legged loved one to our Valentine’s Day heart tree at the shelter in St Lucia.”
In addition it noted that one get all of the above for just $35, but that $35 is worth even more to the animals the organisation rescue. One’s donations help HelpAWS ensure each puppy or kitten they bring into the shelter has the best care possible. It helps to cover food, vetting needs, and finding a forever home for these deserving and precious animals.
While concluding its message, the shelter stated, “Enter now via e-transfer, PayPal or Zelle to donate@helpaws.com or to @helpaws if you’re donating using Venmo. Every dollar you give is spent to save the lives of animals in need. We appreciate you, and the animals you help us save will live happy, healthy lives thanks to your generosity and support!”
