On Saturday, January 9, 2021, According to the Ministry of Health and Wellness, 43 new people are tested positive for COVID-19. This makes the total number of cases diagnosed in the nation 438. Day by day, it is increasing, and its spreading is creating chaos in the citizens. Vaccination and precautions are one and the only way to get rid of it.
According to reports, One of the cases is a non-national. The other 42 cases are Saint Lucian inhabitants varying in age from 14 years to 64 years. They are from the Dennery, Castries, Gros-Islet, Micoud, Anse La Raye, Choiseul, Babonneau, and Laborie districts. As we note the increment in cases being analyzed, we must be warned that we are all exposed to the COVID-19 virus. We should all take individual responsibility to keep everyone safe and protected from the virus.
They were seen at an association respiratory clinic, where they were evaluated and tested for COVID-19. The preponderance of the cases are connections of earlier confirmed cases. While anticipating receipt of their test results, they were placed in quarantine by a well-being practitioner. Epidemiological links have been authenticated for thirty of these cases so far.
Examinations are on-going by the contact duplicate team to ascertain the possible permanence of links for the other twelve cases. Organizations have been made to place these people into isolation.
