Saint Lucia: Civil Status Registry temporarily relocates

Saint Lucia: The Ministry of Justice has informed the public of the temporary relocation of services at the Registry of Civil Status & Rectification (Adjudicator’s) Office on Brazil Street Castries from August 24, 2022, to September 05, 2022. The temporary relocation of services is to facilitate deep cleaning of the Offices.

Consequently, from Wednesday, August 24, 2022, to Friday, August 26, 2022, the services offered at the Rectification Office will be accessed at the main office (downstairs) of the Civil Status Registry.

Applications for birth and death vital records will be processed at the new DigiGov office on Bourbon Street or via the online portal.

Additionally, registration of new births and deaths, as well as applications for other vital records, will be processed at the Rectification (Adjudicator’s) Office on Brazil Street from Monday, August 29, 2022, to Monday, September 05, 2022.

The government has further informed that customers who wish to collect certificates applied for previously can do so at the Rectification (Adjudicator’s) Office on Brazil Street on the days mentioned above. Rectification services will be suspended from August 29, 2021, to September 05, 2022, and will resume service on Tuesday, September 06, 2022. Request for emergency rectifications can be emailed to csrrectification@gmail.com or rectificationinterviews@govt.lc. Payments for all transactions should be made at the Accounts Section of the Ministry of Justice.

The Ministry of Justice thanked the customers for their kind understanding and co-operation as well as regretted any inconvenience caused. The normal services will resume on Tuesday, September 06, 2022.
