Premier Brantley congratulates three Nevisian women Employees of Year

St Kitts and Nevis: Premier of Nevis and leader of Concerned Citizens Movement – Mark Brantley, took social media to congratulate the women who made Nevis proud.

Brantley mentioned, “Facebook, please stop and help me congratulate a champion in tourism, Mixologist Kendie Williams on being named the Employee of the Year, Front of House at the prestigious Four Seasons Resort Nevis.

Kendie has been the senior F&B Bar Supervisor at Four Seasons for the past two years. With her passion for creating amazing cocktails and great guest interaction skills, she also holds the acknowledgement of being the Hotel Mixologist. Her countless hours of rum tasting classes with hotel guests have educated them while also leaving them astonished with her wealth of knowledge and teaching techniques.”

Premier Brantley further praised her and stated, “Kendie utilizes local herbs and spirits in the process to tantalize the taste buds of guests while dazzling their eyes with the most creative and beautiful garnishes to accompany her beverages.”

He further took a moment to praise Nelta Thomas for being named Manager of the Year at the prestigious Four Seasons Resort, Nevis. He stated, “And the GREAT news continues for Nevisians. Please help me congratulate my former Hanley’s Road neighbour Mrs Nelta Thomas on being named Manager of the Year at the prestigious Four Seasons Resort, Nevis.”

Furthermore, he stated, “She is well respected and appreciated by her clients and colleagues and exemplifies the true meaning of adaptability, diligence, commitment. She is the consummate team player. She has continued to exemplify grace under pressure, commitment and dedication to her craft to Four Seasons and to her beloved Nevis. Loving what you do definitely resonates with her!

No one deserves the award of Manager of the Year more than Nelta. Proud of you, Nelta!! Keep pushing!”

He also congratulated Tafana Morton for becoming Employee of the Year-Heart of House at the prestigious Four Seasons Resort Nevis.

Premier stated, “Nevis, the GREAT news just keeps coming. Help me congratulate our own Tafana Morton on her selection as Employee of the Year-Heart of House at the prestigious Four Seasons Resort Nevis.

Tafana has been with Four Seasons Nevis since 2012 and currently holds the role of Stewarding Supervisor, which she has held for several years.”

“Tafana has single-handedly taken charge of the Stewarding Department and has a strong team to support her. She has been instrumental as part of the Hygiene team and always looking for ways to do things better to support the Four Seasons F&B Operation and staff,” he further added while praising Morton.
