PM Terrance Drew meets Commissioner James Sutton to discuss National security matters
Upon returning from his family vacation, the Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew took the charge of safety and security of the country and met with Commissioner James Sutton.

Upon returning from his family vacation, the Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew took the charge of safety and security of the country and met with Commissioner James Sutton.
While sharing the glimpses of his meeting, the Prime Minister stated that he took a first-hand update on the security measures of the country. During his meeting with the Commissioner, the Prime Minister exchanged significant dialogues on preventive measures to be followed in order to enhance the safety and security of the country.
“Immediately upon my return I met with Commissioner James Sutton to get a first-hand update on the security matters of our country,” asserted PM Terrance Drew.
The Prime Minister emphasized that they will continue to make all the resources available to strengthen their security apparatus with a vision to make St Kitts and Nevis, a terror-free nation. While calling, every life “precious,” he stated crime and violence will not be tolerated in the nation and for the same they are implementing stringent strategies to address these issues.
After his visit with Commissioner Sutton, the Prime Minister visited the JNF General Hospital and received an update on the upgrades to the foyer and the construction of the MRI building. Along with that, he also gets a first-hand look at the brand-new EEG machine installed at the hospital, whose functioning and operations were explained by the neurologist.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by the Permanent Secretary and the health team on his visit to JNF General Hospital. While expressing happiness on seeing advancements in the health sector, the Prime Minister stated that it is definitely progressing well in the country.
“I would like to thank the Permanent Secretary and the health team for accompanying me on the tour,” noted PM Drew.
PM Drew extended gratitude to the entire team working in the JNF General Hospital and stated that such development in the construction and installation of new machines is a testament to the unwavering commitment and dedication of the team towards elevating health sector to greater heights.
He expressed his desire of providing all the citizens of the island nation with access to best medical services, ensuring a healthy and enhanced life in the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis.
He continued to say that some challenges are still need to be addressed but they are determined towards their aim of improving quality of life in the country. Therefore, they will continue to work to advance the hospital’s progress.
Notably, the Prime Minister has returned from his family vacation and these visits by the leader shed light on his dedication towards developing St Kitts and Nevis and make it a sustainable island state.
