PM Andrew Holness presents laptops, tablets to students of Jamaica

Jamaica: Prime Minister of Jamaica, Andrew Holness, shared a glimpse of the laptop handing over ceremony, which he presented on the day of Christmas. According to the government of Jamaica, Prime Minister presented the laptops to the students and children who wanted them.

The students were welcomed to the lawns of Jamaica House and received their special Christmas presents from the Prime Minister.

Prime Minister shared a video of the ceremony, and while informing about the ceremony, the post read that the holiday season is a time for celebrating as well as spreading cheer, and one most special way to do that is by treating the little ones in their lives to something special. “At our Christmas treat for children held recently on the lawns of Jamaica House, I had the pleasure of gifting a young student a laptop which she wanted for her Christmas gift,” he stated.

He furthermore informed that some of the students and children received tablets which will help them in their studies and other educational activities. “I was also pleased to present several other students with tablets to assist with their studies,” the post by PM Holness read.

Prime Minister Andrew Holness expressed that one of the best things about hosting this treat is seeing the excitement and joy on the children’s faces as they enjoy the day’s festivities and receive their gifts. It’s a reminder of the magic and wonder of the holiday season and the joy that comes from giving and receiving.

“I hope we managed to light up the faces of the little ones in our lives and in our communities this holiday season,” he added.
