Haiti: President Jovenel Moise stated making Dichiti a commune is a way to enable people living at the entrance of Grandans County.
Dichiti passed through the municipality and became a commune after 178 years. President Jovenel Moise added, “After nearly 178 years since it was a section of the Pestel commune, Dichiti today passes through the municipality, a way to enable people living at the entrance of Grandans County to benefit from all the services and enjoy all the rights that come with it yesterday.”
Furthermore, President Jovenel Moise added, The time has come to come together to serve the people of Jeremiah. Scenes of children and adults alike reflect Jeremiah’s joy over the return of electricity in their town after years of deprivation. Electricity is life.
Moreover, After about three months since we turned on Jeremiah 18 hours / 24, today, after 35 years, Jeremie has power back 24 on 24. That’s what I promised, and that’s what I did. We are starting, and we are not stopping. Before February 7, 2022, all the big cities in the country will be lit 24/24.
Additionally, “It’s a crowd in liese, made up mostly young people, from different backgrounds, that welcomed me this Saturday, February 27 in Jeremie. Currently, the central Jeremiah has a capacity of 6,7 MW. Promise Kept: The city of Jeremiah now has access to electricity 24/24.”
President Jovenel Moise stated It is an honor for Martine and me to share the table of Olivia and Clersidord, this highly respected couple at Duchity. Their company reminds us of the essence of our mission: to work especially for the most humble. Our country must not establish borders between its citizens.
Prez Moise tweeted, “I was informed of the accident of a tank which animated the march of February 28. Victims among the participants were identified. I deplore this tragedy and present my sympathies to their loved ones. I stand with Haitians, in good times and in bad times.”
