One more COVID death reported in St Kitts and Nevis

St Kitts and Nevis reported 25 new cases of the COVID-19 virus in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of active cases in the island country to 647 till 11 September 2021, as per to the report of the Ministry of Health.

So far, 7 patients in the twin-island scummed to death amid the COVID-19 pandemic, while in total, 810 individuals have been recovered from the contagious mutant.

As per the Health Ministry’s report, out of 1,464 confirmed cases discovered, 1,203 cases were reported on St Kitts, and 261 COVID-19 infections have been reported on Nevis island.

As per the COVID-19 vaccination report, till 11 September, around 66.3 per cent of St Kitts & Nevis population has received their first jabs of the COVID-19 vaccine, whereas a total of 74.9 per cent of the SKN population has taken its second dose and is fully vaccinated now.

According to the COVID-19 vaccination data of children between the age group of 12-17 years old, till 10 September 2021, 3.6 per cent of the children population has received their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine.

Worldwide currently, there are a total of 223,022,538 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus, while in total, 201,633,390 individuals have recovered from the mutant while around 4,602,882 individuals lost their lives to the deadliest COVID-19 virus.

In addition, the Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis – Dr Timothy Harris, is also encouraging the citizens to take doses of their COVID-19 vaccines as soon as possible in order to fight and defeat the deadly mutant.

The SKN government has asked its citizens to abide the COVID-19 health protocols and measures such as – wearing masks, frequently sanitizing, maintaining social distance.
