Woman in Antigua & Barbuda fined for illegal dumping
After being found for illegal dumping, a woman in Antigua and Barbuda will now have to pay a fine or even can go to prison for the duration of a year.

Antigua and Barbuda: After being found for illegal dumping, a woman in Antigua and Barbuda will now have to pay a fine or even can go to prison for the duration of a year.
The woman has been identified as Judiana St Louis. She was witnessed on two separate occasions by several eyewitnesses dumping illegally, according to the National Solid Waste Management Authority.
The acts were committed by a woman in the month of March, after which the matter was then reported to the Litter Control and Prevention Hotline 727-2467.
The eyewitnesses reported to the Litter Control and Prevention Department and stated that they saw a vehicle pull aside on Burma Road in the region of Pigotts and began dumping numerous boxes into the gutter by the fence that are surrounding the – V. C. Bird Airport.
The eyewitnesses cited that after the vehicle left, they went closer to the place and observed several boxes, after which they immediately took pictures and made a video of the dumping site.
Then the Litter Control and Prevention Department investigated the matter, and two charges were filed against the woman. The case between NSWMA versus Judiana St Louis was held on September 29 at the St. Johns Magistrate Court.
The woman has been found and pleaded guilty to the two charges of illegal dumping under “the Litter Control and Prevention – Act no. 3 of 2019″ and was ordered by the court to pay the amount of – $6,000 by December 17 or stay in prison for a duration of 1 year.
