Weather Update: Dominica to witness mild showers on April 9

Dominica: The Commonwealth of Dominica will witness partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy to few showers on April 9, 2022. As per the meteorological department, the environment will be breezy, and the sky will be filled with partial clouds.

The department has not issued any warning or advisory for Saturday.

On April 9, the maximum temperature during the day would be 31 degrees Celsius, which is around 88 degrees Fahrenheit and the minimum temperature would be 22 degrees Celsius, approximately 72 degrees Fahrenheit.

Wind: The wind speed on the day would remain between 15 kilometres per hour to 40 kilometres per hour; it will run from Easterly Northeast to Southeast.

Sea: The sea would be moderated and is anticipated during the next 24 hours, with waves peaking at 7.0ft along the eastern coast. The waves would be 1.5 to 2.0 metres or 5.0 to 7.0 feet.

The low tide is expected to be between 1:56 AM and 4:55 PM, and for high tide would be between 8:31 AM and 11:39 PM.
