‘We aim to make Dominica a Knowledge Society’ says Melissa Skerrit

Dominica: Woman has the power to change the world. This world needs brave and considerate women like Melissa Poponne-Skerrit. Mrs. Skerrit is an inspiration for many young women. Recently, she shared a post in which she informed about Advanced Counseling at the University of West Indies.
UWI Open Campus in Dominica offers several different Advanced Counseling, Accounting, and Management starting from January 18, 2021.
Melissa Poponne-Skerrit, Parliamentary Representative for the Roseau Central Constituency, believes that education is the soul of development in any country. She addressed,” we aim to make Dominica an equitable and vibrant knowledge society, Education and Skill in the young generation contribute directly to transforming the nation towards a brighter future.”
Melissa Poponne-Skerrit is also the wife of Prime Minister of Dominica; Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit. She believes in charity. According to a well-known site, ‘that she was divinely called into politics.’ Melissa is well known for her kind and solicitous nature. She is also working for a Foundation that stimulates general awareness and helps those who are marginalized individuals.

The Melissa Skerrit Foundation is an authorized charity engaging in the Commonwealth of Dominica. The foundation was created by Mrs. Melissa Skerrit, the wife of the Prime Minister of Dominica. This foundation works for everyone, from low to rich, and the ones who need kind attention.
In the Era of self-indulgence, Melissa’s foundation is working to stimulate awareness regarding diseases like Breast Cancer, Education, and older people in the Era of selfishness.
Melissa is socially active. Recently she joined Twitter too. Her official account on Facebook more about Dominicans. A few days back, she congratulated active sportsperson Kaveem Hodge on his selection in the West Indies team to play the upcoming Bangladesh Tour.
