Vaccination drive ramps up in SKN; 26,288 people fully vaccinate

St Kitts and Nevis: As of the Ministry of Health of St Kitts and Nevis, as many as 26,288 people have taken the complete vaccination, added children.
According to the data updated on February 22, 2022, total numbers of doses administrated in St Kitts and Nevis stands at 57,442. Of the total, the doses administrated in St Kitts are up to 43,661 and the doses administrated in Nevis are around 13,781.
Meanwhile, the number of people received booster doses is more than 3,000, which is around 9.1 percent.
Among children, aged between 12-year to 17-year, 18.5 percent have got 1st dose of vaccine against COVID-19 and only 16.8 percent have received second dose.
In accordance to the data on February 22, the twin-island federation reported zero cases, continuously for the third day. Total number of recovered cases reported in the country is five, according to the health ministry of St Kitts and Nevis, taking the tally at 5,461.
Of the total recoveries, 824 were from Nevis and remaining from St Kitts.
To date, the total number of confirmed cases in the country is 5,523; of these 4,688 have been reported from St Kitts and around 835 are from Nevis.
Total number of active cases in the country is only 20; as many as 16 are from St Kitts and four are reported from Nevis. However, the total number of deaths is 42; out of these only seven were from Nevis and remaining were from St Kitts.
The Health Ministry has also shared contact number to provide assistance.
