TTMS forecasts partly cloudy weather on January 1
Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) shared the weather update of Trinidad and Tobago and the Remainder of the Lesser Antilles that the sunshine will be interrupted at times by partly cloudy spells with light to moderate showers.

Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) shared the weather update of Trinidad and Tobago and the Remainder of the Lesser Antilles that the sunshine will be interrupted at times by partly cloudy spells with light to moderate showers.
It is to be noted that people may experience mostly fair evening and night.

TTMS further shared that the seas will remain slight to moderate.
Waves Forecast
Further, it is forecasted that waves will exceed 1.0 m to 1.5 m and up to 2.0 m in the Leeward in open waters, and they will remain below 1.0 m in the sheltered areas or uncovered areas.

Generally, sunny conditions are interrupted by a few partly cloudy intervals with showers, mainly during the afternoon. There will be a 20% (low) chance of an isolated heavy shower/ thunderstorm. Nights will remain mostly fair.

As per TTMS, the weather will remain predominantly sunny and, at times, breezy with few isolated showers. The night is forecasted to be mostly fair.
Air quality
The air quality is generally acceptable for the majority of people; however, the sensitive groups may face minor to moderate symptoms from long-term exposure.
Moreover, the 2024 dry season accumulated rainfall totals for Trinidad and Tobago, which are likely to be the highest in northern and eastern areas in the vicinity of regions across T&T.
The lowest dry season accumulated rainfall totals are likely in the northwestern parts of Trinidad.
Additionally, TTMS presented the 2024 Dry Season Outlook at the Fifteenth National Climate Outlook Forum on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.
Notably, the majority of the country is expected to get a percentage of average dry season rainfall totals ranging between 61 per cent and 102 per cent.
