Trinidad and Tobago: The officers of the Southern and Northern Divisions to meet with residents to discuss crime-related issues affecting their communities.

Trinidad and Tobago: The officers of the Southern and Northern Divisions embarked on community building exercises on May 28, 2022 (Saturday), to meet with residents to discuss crime-related issues affecting their communities.
A team of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service visited the communities, which included officers of the Arima Police district, collaborated with the President of the Wallerfield Farmers Association, Lisa Perez, the President of the Wallerfield Village Council, Jacqueline Patrick and the Area Councillor Kerryann Roberts Kasmally.
The concerns were shared by the families who are included in the farming and farming related practices. The families shared concerns over the opportunities for a cohesive and collaborative partnership between the groups.
“Several families involved in farming from Tractorpool Road, Nicaragua Road and Chile Road Wallerfield shared concerns and opportunities for a cohesive and collaborative partnership between the groups. Officers also advised the farmers on ways to make themselves hard targets,” the social media to the Police Service informed.
While officers of the San Fernando police station and the La Romaine Post met with the La Romaine Community Impact team members.
The officers focused on the Bronx area, Temple St, Claude St, and environs. This initiative is part of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service Strategic Priority #1 – Community Partnership.
