Tech industry in Guyana enhances safety awareness in Ministry of Labour Session
Ministry of Labour of Guyana recently hosted an Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Awareness Session.

Georgetown, Guyana: The Ministry of Labour of Guyana recently hosted an Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Awareness Session. According to the official update, the session was just one and a half hours.
During the session, the employees of major tech companies in Guyana participated in the meeting and gained information about all the technical issues.
According to the update, on August 30, 2023, twelve (12) EnerMech Training Center/ODITC employees participated in a one-and-a-half (1.5) hour Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Awareness Session provided by the Ministry of Labour’s Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Department.
Roydon Croal, Senior OSH Officer, on Wednesday, August 30th, 2023, facilitated the awareness training, which tackled workers in the Oil and Gas Support industry, as per the statement by the ministry.
Following the session, participants expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Labour for organizing it.
Earlier, it informed that fourteen (14) Total Tec, Total Based Services Guyana Inc., and Jaguar Oilfield Services Guyana Inc. employees attended a one-and-a-half (1.5) hour Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Awareness Session on August 29, provided by the Ministry of Labour’s Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Department.
On Tuesday, August 29th, OSH Officer Roydon Croal administered the awareness training, which tackled workers in the Oil and Gas Support industry.
As per the statement by the ministry, participants expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Labour for organizing it following the session.
