Roseau, Dominica: Tanisha Balson is crowned as the National Miss Wob Dwiyet Pageant 2023, which was held at Old Mill Cultural Centre in Dominica. She is being praised and congratulated on various social media platforms.
The National Miss Wob Dwiyet Pageant is highly popular in Dominica and also in various regions of the Caribbean.

About Tanisha Balson:
Tanisha Balson from Fond Canie is a twenty-year-old who is an employee of Central Cooperative Credit Union LTD and serves as a Member Service Representative. She is the perfect example of outstanding customer service.
She was being sponsored for a pageant by her place of employment.
Many people consider her a true Dominican Beauty. Education has played a vital role in her life as she believes that education is the source that unlocks all the doors to success. She completed her graduation degree in Biology from the Dominica State College with honours.
She is leading her own business called ‘Tan’s Tints.’ She has plans to further her education in the field of medicine as a Cardiothoracic Surgeon.
She depicts herself as friendly, kind-hearted, compassionate, bold, generous, confident and ambitious. Her hobbies include- reading books, creative arts and spending time with her family.
Miss Wob Dwiyet Pageant
Miss Wob Dwiyet Pageant is a competition which held every year in Dominica as an integral part of the Independence Day celebration.
The Wob Dwiyet is a national symbol and an important segment of Dominica’s national costume. The competition showcases both the talents of young people and national costumes.
