Sunil Narine was born and brought up in Arima, Trinidad and Tobago. Narine has always been passionate about cricket, a sport he played with the support of his parents. His parents and family stood by him in every situation and motivated him to chase his dreams.

Debut:
– Narine made his ODI debut against India on 5 December 2011; in his debut match, Narine took two wickets.
– Sunil debuted for West Indies in T20 in 2012 against Australia; in his debut match, he couldn’t contribute as a wicket-taker in the team.
– He also made his test debut against England in 2012 and the match was a draw.

- Sunil Narine has been one of the most crucial players in the Indian Premier League in which he represented the Kolkata Knight Riders. Sunil Narine’s contribution with both bat and ball has earned him various awards, such as IPL’s Most Valuable Player and he has also won the purple cap for being the leading wicket-taker of the tournament.
- Sunil Narine played a vital role in leading his team towards a victory in the ICC World Cup T20 in 2012.

Retirement from International Career:

He took 165 wickets in his international career and announced his retirement from international cricket but he stated that he will continue to play for domestic T20 leagues.
Moreover, Narine will announce his retirement from the domestic 50 over competitions at the end of CG United Super 50. Narine represents the Trinidad and Tobago team which is currently maintaining its streak of being in the top 2.
