St Kitts and Nevis’ women won another game in the U-20 football match against the team of Trinidad and Tobago, on Sunday, in the Concacaf Women’s Under-20 Championship.

St Kitts and Nevis: St Kitts and Nevis’ women won another game in the U-20 football match against the team of Trinidad and Tobago, on Sunday, in the Concacaf Women’s Under-20 Championship. St Kitts and Nevis bagged the game with a 7-2 win at the Estadio Panamericano in San Cristobal, Dominican Republic.
It was a hat-trick match for St Kitts and Nevis to win. St Kitts’ strikers Iyanla Bailey-Williams and Jahzara Claxton took the penalty from Stokes and finished all hopes of Trinidad and Tobago to reach the second round.
The only two goals by Trinidad and Tobago team were scored by skipper Maria-Frances Serrant and half-time substitute Shurella Mendez in the 33rd and 75th minutes, respectively. However, the U-20 match was ended with ten players on the field, goalkeeper AKyka Walcott was substituted and Aaliyah Alexander was sent off the field due to foal in the 20th minute of the match.
Alexander accidentally ran out of her area and fouled an incoming from opposite team’s Josanna Williams during the first three minutes; following this, she was immediately red-carded, and the post was taken by the defender Aaliyah Trim.
St Kitts and Nevis hold the game in their hands from start to the end of the game. Trinidad and Tobago was able to score the goal in the first half, before the break, as she showed class by sprinting down the left and firing into the top corner. At that time, the score was at 5-1.
The end moments of game summed up Trinidad and Tobago’s performance as the lowest-ranked team in the Concacaf Women’s Under-20 Championship.
Trinidad and Tobago lost their second match in the tournament, following the loss against 3-0 El Salvador in the Group A fixture on Friday. For now, TT women’s football team is at the cellar position on the scorecard.
