St Kitts and Nevis govt files declarations of Income, Assets, and Liabilities, says PM Drew
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew announced that the Federal Cabinet of St Kitts and Nevis filed respective Declarations of Income, Assets, and Liabilities under the recently amended Integrity in Public Life Act.

St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew announced that the Federal Cabinet of St Kitts and Nevis filed respective Declarations of Income, Assets, and Liabilities under the recently amended Integrity in Public Life Act.
He took to Facebook and said that the step is taken place for the first time in the history of the Federation. PM Terrance Drew said that the step had marked the commitment of the government to eliminate corruption.
PM Terrance Drew said, “For the first time in our Federation’s history, your Federal Cabinet filed our respective Declarations of Income, Assets, and Liabilities under the recently amended Integrity in Public Life Act.”
He said that this is a demonstration of their government’s commitment to eliminate corruption. All senior public officials within the Federation will be required to file their declarations yearly.
PM Terrance Drew said that the step is especially concerned with ensuring that the Public Sector machinery is founded on fundamental concepts.
“We are especially concerned with ensuring that the Public Sector machinery is founded on fundamental concepts such as citizen involvement, the rule of law, transparency, accountability, integrity, responsiveness, and the absence of corruption and wrongdoing.”
He further added that they work to create a sustainable island state with a diverse economy that benefits EVERYONE; they have to advance further as a nation by removing corruption and its influence.
PM Terrance Drew is committed to working for the upliftment of St Kitts and Nevis. Earlier, he also welcomed a team from Canada to the Joseph N. France General Hospital, which will be providing vital training to the staff of the Haemodialysis Unit at the Joseph N. France (JNF) General Hospital.
The Team is led by Charles Estridge, a Biomedical Technologist and a proud national residing in Canada. The Team is experienced in playing a pivotal role in procuring fifteen (15) much-needed dialysis machines for the country back in May of this year.
The team consists of two seasoned registered nurses, Yee Young Sang and Carmela Nelson, along with Biomedical Technologist Jason Maher. Their presence and expertise are crucial in enhancing the capabilities of healthcare professionals and ensuring optimal care for patients in need of dialysis treatment.
