St Kitts and Nevis announces whooping $25,000 for Road March Title 2024

St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival has announced a Cash Prize of $25,000 for the Road March Title. This whooping prize amount is anticipated to attract large number of participants, creating a vibrant and unforgettable environment filled with music and vibe, offering plethora of experiences to all the attendees.

The Road March title is a part of the activities of the highly-anticipated Sugar Mas 2024. This year’s carnival is being conducted under the slogan “There is only one place to be SugarMas53.” It aims to celebrate the vibrant culture and traditions of the country, showcasing the best of the island nation.

The Carnival Committee extended invitation to the people to register themselves for being a part of the much-anticipated road march title. They also shared the deadlines and stated that October 1, 2024 is the last date for the participants to enter the competition.

The interested individual can participate in this event by registering themselves at www.skncarnival.com or at the National Carnival Secretariat. Meanwhile, 1^st November, 2024 is the deadline for the release of Road March songs on 2 radio stations located in St Kitts & Nevis.

As per the details, the participants will have to email these songs to info@skncarnival.com and streetactivities@skncarnival.com including the name of song. It should no later than 11 pm on Friday, according to the rules and conditions shared by the Committee.

On the other hand, the deadline or publishing Road March song(s) on a music streaming platform, for example; Meta Sound Collection (Instagram Music Library and Facebook Music Library) announced by the Committee is 15^th November, 2024.

While shedding light on the songs, the St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Committee stated that the inclusion of lewd and distasteful lyrics, including explicit or sexually suggestive words, clauses, phrases, or sentences will result in the contender being immediately disqualified from the competition.

Moreover, in case of any query or doubts, the individuals can go through the rules and regulations of the competition which will be available for them at the Carnival Secretariat in the E.C Daniel Building on Cayon Street.

Also, this year’s Sugar Mas is promising to be the bigger and brightest one. The authorities have also launched exciting line-up of activities for the visitors and the local citizens, offering all of them an experience like no other.
