Sea Cloud II rescheduled to dock at St Kitts and Nevis amid bad weather conditions
Sea Cloud II is rescheduled to call St Kitts and Nevis on Saturday, 10th February 2024. It is to be noted that the cruise was initially scheduled to dock on the nation on 8th February, but cruise vessels had to cancel their calls to St Kitts due to inclement weather conditions.

St Kitts and Nevis: Sea Cloud II is rescheduled to call St Kitts and Nevis on Saturday, 10th February 2024. It is to be noted that the cruise was initially scheduled to dock on the nation on 8th February, but cruise vessels had to cancel their calls to St Kitts due to inclement weather conditions.
Notably, along with Sea Cloud II, Marella Voyager and Wind Surf were also scheduled to dock at its destination but due to weather conditions, Marella Voyager had to cancel its call. Wind Surf has been scheduled to call on Friday.
It is also not safe for the cruise ship to dock at its destination because of the adverse weather conditions on the island. It has also been mentioned by the National Emergency Management Agency of St Kitts and Nevis that a frontal trough has caused unsettled conditions over the Leeward.
These conditions continued until 8 February. As this feature moves eastwards, a reduction in moisture will result in a gradual improvement in conditions over these islands by 9 February 2024.

As per the National Emergency Management Agency of St Kitts and Nevis, the nation is likely to experience a decrease in clouds with a 60% chance of early morning showers. The wind is anticipated to exceed up to 10 mph, with sea waves ranging from 3-4ft on Friday, 9th February, 2024.
On Saturday, the island is likely to experience partly cloudy weather with a 40% chance of showers. The winds are forecasted to exceed up to 14 mph, with sea waves ranging from 4-6 ft.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, the nation is likely to witness partly cloudy skies with a 40% chance of showers. The winds are anticipated to exceed 15 mph, with sea waves ranging from 4-6 ft.
