Schools to reopen from September 4 in Anguilla

The Valley, Anguilla: The Government of Anguilla announced that the public schools will reopen on September 4, 2023.
According to the official update by the government, the Department of Education advises the public of the following updated start dates for the 2023/24 school year. Please note no online classes are to be held.
Campus B: Forms 1 and 2 start classes in person as planned.
Through the social media update, the government reminded the parents of the new start time of 7:45 am and the ending time of 2:25 pm.
Additionally, it informed that Incoming Sixth Formers this year (6B) are planning to start preparation for CAPE examinations or other post-secondary qualifications; please note that registration for this will be handled by the Anguilla Community College (ACC) at Campus A. The College will announce the start date for 6B classes. Classes are expected to be held across Campus A, the new site in The Quarter, and the ACC at Long Path from September 11, 2023 (Monday).
Campus A: Classes for PRU and WISE will start in-person classes. The Intensive English Centre (IEC) for new students who require concentrated English as a Second Language (ESL) support will start in-person classes. ESL students who have completed one year at the IEC will move on to their assigned classes in the mainstream programme as outlined in this release.
Campus A – Quarter Site: Forms 5 and 6A (the second year of Sixth Form) will start in-person classes.
Campus A – Quarter Site: Forms 3 and 4 begin in-person classes. DOVE 2 and SEN A students should report for in-person classes as well from September 18, 2023 (Monday). Teachers will make direct contact with parents to further facilitate the special needs of these students.
