I wanted to be happy today, the first of the new year, but I was really saddened to hear that hundreds of birds were dying in Rome for fear of the sound of Christmas fireworks. How selfish we humans are.#FridayFeeling #HappyNewYear2021 pic.twitter.com/vSmSP9F3UW

The reason behind this Massacre is unidentified. According to the International Organization for the Protection of Animals, firecrackers’ loud noise scared them to death. Whereas the fire destroyed the nests of those birds is another assumption. People have tweeted more than often, “Hundreds of birds dead after fireworks in Rome. Fireworks are stupid.”
