Ram Lalla’s consecration celebrations in Trinidad and Tobago

Trinidad and Tobago: People from Trinidad and Tobago celebrated the consecration of Ram Lalla, which took place in Ayodhya, India. Connecting to this, the motorcade graced the streets of Trinidad and Tobago a day ago.

The Grand Motorcade took off from Pierre Road recreational ground from 2 pm to 4 pm. Over 5000 people attended the celebrations held in the country on Sunday. This was further marked by the cultural events and the singing of famous Ram Songs.

Trinidad and Tobago is an island with a large population of Indian origin known as Indo-Trinidadians and Tobagonians. This even formulates a significant part of Indian heritage having about 40% of the population with Indian descent.

Where the whole world is celebrating the ceremony, Trinidad and Tobago, with a significant count of Indian origin people as well as celebrating with great joy.

“The world is celebrating the occasion, including us here in Trinidad & Tobago!,” mentioned the Shri Ram Janam Bhumi Sthapna Committee, Trinidad.

After the motorcade, a devotional ceremony having cultural programs along with the refreshments was held. Pran Pratishtha Inauguration Celebrations devotional ceremony after the Grand Motorcade from 4 pm to 5 pm.

Interestingly, the event included the lighting of 550 diyas as well. This event marked the fact that the whole of Trinidad and Tobago along with India celebrated Diwali twice on the same day, the Motorcade took place on January 21, 2024 (Sunday). Even people expressed their joy.

Considerably, the radio 103.1 FM Trinidad and Tobago became a part of this by covering the whole event. Also, they shared visual glimpses of devotional songs performed at the ceremony as part of the celebrations.

Not only this, India in Trinidad and Tobago (High Commission of India, Port of Spain) shared glimpses of the grand celebrations on the eve of Shri Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha by the India Diaspora in the nation.
