PM Terrance Drew meets Special Services Unit of Royal St Christopher & Nevis Police Service
Prime Minister of the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, visited the Special Services Unit (SSU) of the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force

Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister of the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, visited the Special Services Unit (SSU) of the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force on June 15th, 2023 (Thursday), according to the update shared by Royal Christopher and Nevis Police Force.
According to the update, Prime Minister and Minister of National Security et al, Dr Terrance Drew, was accompanied by National Security expert Dr Edwin Powell.
During this visit, PM Dr Terrance Drew met with the officers of the Royal Christopher and Nevis Police Force. He discussed major issues in the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis. PM Drew further interacted with the senior officials and tried to find out ways to decrease crime in the nation.
The update mentioned that he shared gratitude, reassurance, and encouragement with the officers for their diligent work and unwavering commitment. He also reiterated the government’s steadfast support for law enforcement’s efforts to maintain peace and order in the Federation.
Furthermore, Prime Minister Drew reminded the SSU officers that the duality of their duties requires them to be both forceful and compassionate as a situation may require. He urged them to always practice mindfulness as their decisions directly impact civilian lives.
PM Drew, while concluding the meeting, thanked the police service of St Kitts and Nevis for their hard work and continuous efforts. He also expressed gratitude and thankfulness towards them for their service and challenged them to keep their eyes on the prize of a better tomorrow.
Additionally, the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Service has also thanked Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew for paying this official visit and encouraging them to do good work.
