PM Terrance Drew meets Police officials, outlines security landscape
Dr. Terrance Drew, Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis discussed the current security landscape of the country with the authorities of the Police Force. This aimed at reinforcing the government’s commitment for maintaining national safety.

St. Kitts and Nevis: Dr. Terrance Drew, Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis discussed the current security landscape of the country with the authorities of the Police Force. He had the discussions with James Sutton who is the commissioner of Police within the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force and Colonel J. Anthony Comrie, Commander Lt. of the SKNDF (St. Kitts and Nevis Defense Force).
PM Terrance Drew, the National Security Minister and the security associated officials had the meeting aimed at reinforcing the government’s commitment for maintaining national safety. During the meeting, Attorney General Garth Wilkin and Glenroy Blanchette, who is acting permanent secretary of the National Security Ministry as well, joined.
The discussions between them had a major emphasis on assessing and enhancing the measures that ensure strengthened security around the country. Considering the security of the federation, the PM outlined that the safety and security of the people are at the top among others, and the authorities ensure peace and harmony in the country, ensuring a secure environment for all.
Considerably, the insightful discussions among the officials centered around the objective of encouraging and improving the capabilities of law enforcement agencies. And the initiatives which will be taken forward under this will be part of the effective enforcement of law and order. This even directs towards the result of what the Prime Minister addressed regarding implementing the strategic plans to foster peace while he was in UAE.
While mentioning such, he also highlighted that the actions that will be taken forward are not only part of introducing the policies but also will go through a proper assessment. This would surely lead to positive results for the country.
All the initiatives pushed in the the country are the mark of great leadership and determination of the authorities to improve the country.
