Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew visited Nevis to participate in the final edition of the Caribbean’s greatest summer celebration, Nevis Culturama Festival.

While sharing the glimpses of his visit on his official Facebook account, PM Terrance Drew stated that it was good and really enjoyable and fun experience, meeting and interacting with so many people. The leader of the nation celebrated the rich and exciting offerings of the island nation and called it “an experience like no other.”

Notably, this year, the island nation celebrated the 50th edition of Nevis Culturama Festival, which stands as a pinnacle of celebration on the island. The country invited several locals and visitors alike to the richness of Nevisian culture. The Nevis Culturama Festival which is a vibrant celebration of the island’s cultural heritage showcased a kaleidoscope of traditions, music, dance, and cuisine and the island came in alive with the vibrant colours and sound.

As, the Nevis Culturama Festival is approaching its finale edition, it will conclude with a Parade that will wind their way through the streets of Nevis with people adorned in elaborate costumes and accompanied by pulsating rhythms, celebrating the island’s diverse cultural influences.

Along with that, the festival conducted several events and activities that featured a lineup of electrifying music performances that displays the vibrant music sense of the island nation. Also, the 50th Nevis Culturama Festival is once again all set to lit up the roads of Nevis with the beautiful colours, costumes, vibrant culture, music, dance and warm hospitality.

Moreover, 50th edition of Nevis Culturama Festival has also been considered a huge success, as recently the Premier Mark Brantley mentioned about the incredible economic impact the festival has made thus far. He also mentioned about the large number of revellers came from St Kitts to Nevis to enjoy the vibrant activities of the Nevis Culturama Festival.

Premier Mark Brantley stated that his nation will continue to make efforts in order to convert Nevis Culturama Festival to even a bigger and brighter celebration. He also expressed his desire of able to compete with other leading regional and international festivals, bringing tremendous economic benefits to country.
