Jamaica: Prime Minister of Jamaica, Member of Parliament for West Central St Andrew, and Jamaica Labour Party Leader Andrew Holness appreciated Treniel Lowe’s work as he helped the students who are not able to attend schools in COVID-19 and assisted children of the facility with online learning.
In this era of new normal (covid-19) people are suffering from many conflicts. This era degraded the future of many children. Children are unable to attend schools, and hence their future is in danger. Twenty-four years old Treniel, a final-year student at the University of Technology, Jamaica (UTECH) pursuing his studies in Hospitality and Food Service Management assisted those kids in online examinations as well as study.
Treniel credits his development and academic achievements to his years living at the State-run facility where he currently serves on the Board of Directors as a programme coordinator. With COVID-19 disrupting schools, he assists children of the facility with online learning. Prime Minister of Jamaica Andrew Holness appreciated Treniel Lowe’s work via his official Facebook account on Tuesday. People commented on this post and shared their love for this young boy.
Facebook user Leepez Ebanks commented” Wow!! Excellent excel coming from a children’s home to excell, My hat’s off to you young man. I feel so proud of you, Congratulations !! I wish you well! And you will be unstoppable! Just make Jesus your choice. Thanks to my Big Boss Prime Miniter the Most Honourable Andrew Holness ! For recognising the youths for their achievements.”
“Congratulations young man. I am so proud of your achievements. It is not where you come from but what you make of yourself. You are a role model for these young people, and I’m sure some will follow your path. Seeing you, I can tell you you will even know now some of your relatives. Keep soaring on the wings of excellence,” Sharon Newell Williams said.
People are delighted from Treniel Lowe’s work. PM Holness shared this acknowledgement with all the Jamaicans. We need more people like Mr Holness and Treniel Lowe.
