Barbados: Barbados witnessed the community spread of coronavirus in the nation. This time is very crucial for every citizen so as for the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley showed her concern towards the people who have lost their lives due to lethal coronavirus.
She stated, In the past seven days, Barbados has lost three citizens due to COVID-19. They didn’t break any law. They did not flagrantly abuse any protocol or guidelines. They did not even leave their homes.
According to her, “They didn’t catch COVID; COVID caught them. None of the three of them went to COVID. COVID came to them. This has given her sleepless nights, and she fears that COVID will not stop until we as a nation stop COVID.”
Furthermore, she noted, COVID-19 will not stop unless we declare war on COVID-19. Therefore, our fightback must intensify, but her words will be empty if they were simply words, and therefore it means it needs more than that—the action and support of all right-thinking Barbadians in this battle.
