PM Gaston Browne meets Canadian PM Trudeau at CHOGM; discusses several matters of concern
Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, Gaston Browne, met with the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, during the 26th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).

Antigua and Barbuda: Prime Minister of Antigua & Barbuda, Gaston Browne, met with the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, during the 26th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).
At the time of interactive engagement both the Prime Ministers, finalized the decision to work together to advance shared priorities in response to any crisis faced by the world.
The two leaders had a discussion over Russia’s illegal invasion of Ukraine, which Prime Minister Trudeau criticized as an affront to the fundamental principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity, and international law.
They agreed on the requirement for the Commonwealth nations to work together to defend democracy, peace, security, and human rights.
Gaston Browne and Justin Trudeau both the countries have agreed upon various bilateral exchanges in order to increase food security, combat climate change, provide opportunities for youth, and improve the quality of life for people all over the world. They recognized that the invasion is compromising access to food and energy throughout the Commonwealth.

Along with this, in CHOGM 2022, PM Gaston Browne had many interactive engagements, and he visited different places. He also had a meeting with UK Parliamentarian Alok Sharma.
Furthermore, in a separate session, he met with the foreign minister of Cryptus, Ioannis Kasoulides.
