Organizers introduce new COVID-19 protocols for Miami carnival
As proof, the attendees should submit their Negative PCR test report or the record that they had got their covid-19 vaccine

Before starting the staging for Miami Carnival, the organizers had announced a sequence of COVID-19 protocols and measures. As COVID-19 cases are at the surge globally as well as in the area of Florida.
According to a statement by the Miami Broward Carnival Host Committee, they said that they have been keeping themselves up-to-date with the newly announced protocols by CDC as well as they are in contact with Miami-Dade County doctors. They said this year, the number of attendees might get reduce. The statement points towards that there would be 37th staging done on Columbus Day weekend, October 2-10, 2021
The New COVID-19 protocols for Miami Carnival:-
- Wearing mask has been made mandatory throughout the event that would be produced by the Miami Broward One Carnival Host Committee. The performers and attendees have to follow the protocols and keep the mask on when they are at the event.
- As proof, the attendees should submit their Negative PCR test report or the record that they had got their covid-19 vaccine.
- The temperature checking would be a must for every performer and attendees present there. Each person entering the events without a personal-sized hand sanitizer will be given a small hand sanitizer bottle.
- At the event, the area specially equipped with hand sanitizers and handwashing stations would be positioned throughout the event.
Dade County public school students announced that wearing masks would be mandatory when the students would return to class next week, based on the common support a task force of medical experts urging the school district made Monday night.
Superintendent Alberto Carvalho on Monday said, “I fully support the task force’s recommendation because Miami-Dade County continues to be hard hit by the delta variant of COVID-19. My mind is pretty made up on the way to move forward. And, that is in full agreement with the recommendations of this task force.”
